Cloud Application Security Raised $30million in Series B Funding

Funding

Anjuna, a cloud application security provider, revealed today that it has raised $30 million in Series B funding, bringing the company’s total capital to $42 million.

Insight Partners led the round, which will help the company bring its Confidential Cloud Software Platform to market as well as support technology development and innovation.

The Silicon Valley-based firm, which was founded in 2018, aims to protect data and application workloads from both external and insider attackers, as well as malware.

The company does this by utilising private computing to assure data privacy and application security even in untrustworthy locations.

Anjuna enables businesses to fully protect their data and apps, even against attackers who have already achieved root access to a server. Its technology may be used to safeguard on-premises data centres as well as multi-cloud and hybrid settings.

“With Anjuna, powerful hardware-level security capabilities may be used in clouds and servers from all major providers.” According to Ayal Yogev, CEO and co-founder of Anjuna, “this can transparently accommodate software applications while extending hardware-grade protection universally across all of IT infrastructure.”
